Aerial Cinematography/ Camera Operating

Ticket To Paradise - ‘The Hand Over’

Kaitlyn Dever awakens after big night to find she has landed in paradise. Director Ol Parker, was absolutely in awe of this shot we were able to achieve on a remote island in the Whitsundays. A collaboration between some of QLD’s finest crew and Heliguy, this one shot take is the most technically challenging and beautiful shot I have operated to date.

Something more explosive?

Land of Bad

Liam Hemsworth is trapped deep in behind enemy lines. Russell Crowe must provide aerial support from a drone.

Land of Bad’s story was driven by the presence of a military drone hovering over head at all times. Heliguy was heavily involved in this project, providing more aerial shots than any other project I have done before. This lead to more shoot days with Main Unit and a very healthy dose of Splinter Unit photography spearheaded by Elliott and Jeff Gaunt. Crafting not only high intensity action, but also tense visual storytelling as Liam Hemsworth sneaks his way behind enemy lines.

High pressure, one chance setups. Cars flipping, buildings exploding, stunts and more. The perfect take, first time, every time.
